ONEPlanET
The ONEPlanET project aims to develop a common nexus modelling framework to simulate and evaluate pathways to define a more sustainable future in Africa. The ONEPlanET model will be tailored to the needs of stakeholders and end users, empowering them to stimulate green energy transition strategies consistent with socio-economic and climate scenarios. The project will also deliver technical and policy recommendations to implement energy infrastructures and build a more climate neutral and resilient society in Africa.

Our role
Three o'clock is leading the activities that aim to empower policy makers, public officers, citizens and communities (including vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, refugees, children,) with the necessary knowledge and tools to deal with Nexus related issues.
Main tasks:
- Carry out user research to identify the main barriers for decision making processes linked to the Nexus for the public sector, including technical, legal, financial and social issues.
- Elaborate user-centered capacity building & training materials addressing the pre-identified needs of the different target groups, including financing strategies for the training, legal governance guidelines, public procurement strategies, funding possibilities, engagement strategies, etc.
- Build up an international community behind Nexus initiative and to reinforce the existing AU-EU partnership.
