Meet Carla

What is your background/expertise?

My background is a mix of science and communication. I've got a physics degree with a master's in quantum photonics, but I've spent the last four years diving into the world of scientific communication. I bring a unique perspective to scientific communication, as I am able to distill complex scientific concepts into engaging and accessible content that resonates with a wide audience.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When I’m not working, I love to express my artistic side through painting, especially oil portraiture. Not only does it allow me to relax, but it also gives me a deep satisfaction to capture the essence of people on canvas.

Why did you choose to join us at Three oโ€™clock?

For me, it’s very important to know that my work contributes to building a more sustainable and climate-responsible world. Three o’clock not only allows me to be a part of this mission but also resonates with me because it’s led by women. I firmly believe in the strength and influence of women, and I’m proud to be part of a team that embodies that spirit!

Meet Jennifer

What is your background/expertise?

Iโ€™m an anthropologist who has led research projects in industry, the non-profit sector and academia. Iโ€™m deeply curious about the socio-economic and political challenges people face in their everyday lives, which I aim to uncover through my research. Having focused on the impact of digital technologies on society for the past decade, Iโ€™m now keen to apply my expertise to find real-life solutions for a more sustainable future.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I love the arts and any form of cultural expression, so I try to make as much time as possible for exhibitions, cinema visits, reading, theatre plays, concerts and discovering vegetarian cuisine from around the world. But I also enjoy running, hiking through nature and a good yoga session.

Why did you choose to join us at Three oโ€™clock?

I believe that the current climate and environmental crises are the biggest challenges of our time. Working for Three oโ€™clock allows me to make a contribution to tackling these issues within an ambitious, flexible and collaborative team.
