About us

We believe that cities today need to reduce their complexities, reimagine services, and tackle the impacts of climate change and inequalities. From Paris to Shanghai, they have the opportunity to play a central role in designing their future, breaking silos, and working towards shared outcomes and goals.

What sets us apart

We are a social enterprise. We co-invest in projects that we believe in, and do pro bono work for social entrepreneurs and communities who need the extra help.

We are interdisciplinary. With engineering, research, business and communication backgrounds, we have the right mix of ingredients to help you design and launch the best people-centred concepts.

We have more than a decade of experience in what we do and know the sectors we work in. Overcoming the challenges and seizing opportunities in the mobility and energy sectors, and building local communities is how we can help you.

Together, we've lived in 30 cities. Big and small. Hot and cold. Chill and crazy. Because we love cities and because we love people, we help you make cities better and happier places for people to live in.

How we create impact

We integrate human experience into urban projects.

We engage cities and citizens in the development of urban solutions.

We test & prototype your solutions in real-life environments.

We empower organisations through an experimental learning process that cultivates the learning by doing mindset.

Meet Eva, Esti & Chloe

Our story begins with a three o’clock coffee break ritual. From great colleagues to work with to close friends, we woke up one morning and decided to take a walk on the wild side – start a new adventure together and put our experience and knowledge into something that means a lot to us: improving our living environment and aligning it with what we believe in.

Eva Boo

"You don’t plan the best nights of your life, they just happen, so the same with business."

Eva makes the most out of collective thinking to design business models tailored for clients. She has 11 years of experience in urban-related projects in the energy, mobility and construction sectors, and has worked for different companies in Spain, France and the US. Outside of work, you'll probably find Eva riding her folding bike through Paris or cooking the best paella in town.

Esti Sanvicente

“We spend a lot of time designing the bridge, but not enough time thinking about the people who are crossing it.”

Esti works as a design researcher at the crossroads of the technical and social dimensions of urban innovation. She has 10 years of experience in urban-related projects and has worked in the energy and mobility sectors in Spain, France and Australia. When Esti is not out tasting typical Basque cider, you'll probably find her swooshing down ski slopes in the Pyrénées.

Chloe Chavardes

“If you've always done it that way, it's probably wrong.”

Chloe designs and rolls out effective engagement strategies. With more than 15 years of experience in communications, working in the US, The Netherlands, Germany and France, her knowledge of our sectors brings sense to the outreach actions carried out by Three o'clock. If Chloe's not out playing some beach tennis, you'll probably find her eating pimientos de padrón on a Spanish terrasse.
